Mrs. Fairclough, 21, Coburg Street, Birkenhead, has received news that her husband, Lance-Corporal Thomas Arthur Fairclough, was killed in action in Egypt on March 10th. Lance-Corporal Fairclough, who was employed by Messrs. Lever Bros., enlisted in the Welsh Regt., in December, 1916, and has been on active service for about twelve months. His widow is left with one child. Mr. and Mrs. Fairclough, Higher Bebington, the parents of the late soldier, lost another son in battle six months ago.
