Vincent Joseph Michael's Story.
Born Holyhead, Anglesey, July 19, 1892. Son of Captain John Green and brother of Mrs M. O’Regan of The Devonshire Arms Hotel, Youghal, County Cork. According to the 1911 Census, was a boarder at 17, Delamere Street, Crewe. Worked as a draughtsman in the LNWR General Offices at Crewe, before enlisting on September 26, 1914. Died in the 11th C.C.S. of peritonitis, after being shot through the abdomen and left arm the previous day.
