Oxton Officer Killed.

LIEUT. T. S. PATERSON.

Lieut. T. S. Paterson, who, as reported on Wednesday’s “News,” was killed in action on 10th November, was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry S. Paterson, of “The Knowles,” Mere Farm Road, Oxton, Birkenhead. As an officer in the R.G.A. “Territorials” he was mobilised at the outbreak of war. The late Lieut. T. S. Paterson was educated at Loretto, Musselburgh, Scotland, and after serving his articles with Mr. F. J. Kirby F.S.I., of Messrs. Edmund Kirby and Sons, joined in 1913 the firm of Paterson and Thomas, estate agents, etc., 16, Cook Street, Liverpool (founded by his grandfather in 1847), of which firm his father is the senior partner. Lieut. T. S. Paterson was 26 years of age.
