Birkenhead News 20 September 1916Another Birkonian Missing
Private Thomas King of the Cheshires, and the 24-year-old son of Mrs. King, 51, Vine Street, Birkenhead, has been missing since the 7th July, and any information from his comrades will gladly be received by his mother. He joined the Army in December, 1914, and with his regiment was drafted to France in September, 1915. He was an old boy of Our Lady’s R.C. School, and prior to leaving Birkenhead was employed at the docks.
