We regret to announce the death of Driver Francis Evans (16), of 55 Milner Street, Birkenhead. The gallant youth was a member of the 3rd West Lancs. Brigade R.F.A., at present stationed at Faversham in Kent. It appears that on Saturday, February 13th, he caught a chill, which developed into double pneumonia, and he passed away on Tuesday, February 16th. Mrs. Evans has received many letters of sympathy from the officers and men of her son’s company. Mr. Evans, the father, is a greaser on H.M.S. Devonshire, and is at present home on furlough.
